HIGH COUNTRY SOCCER CAMP

High Country Soccer Camp is a week long day camp for kids in the High Country between the ages of 4-13. The camp is held at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex and designed for players of any level interested in further developing their technical and tactical skills. Instruction is led by licensed professional HCSA staff coaches who will follow a curriculum of fun age-appropriate activities and small-sided games to develop players and foster enjoyment and appreciation for the game of soccer.
	SUMMER 2012 CAMP SESSIONS Session 1 June 4-8 or June 11-15 Session 2 July 30 – August 3 Junior Avalanche Campers $55, Ages 4-6, 9AM – 11AM Half-Day Campers $65, Ages 7-13, 9AM – 12PM Full-Day Campers $90, Ages 7-13, 9AM – 3PM
Camp Programs Junior Avalanche: $55 Ages 4-6 years old 9AM – 11AM This program is designed to provide players a basic foundation of skills and enjoyment for the game of soccer. The program will feature age-appropriate soccer activities and small sided games instructed by professional HCSA staff coaches specifically licensed to coach this age-group. Half-Day: $65 Ages 7-13 years old 9AM – 12PM This program will divide all campers into training groups by age and ability to ensure the best developmental environment for each camper. The morning sessions will focus on teaching fundamental techniques and basic tactical situations. The morning session will conclude with a 4v4 individual points tournament. Full-Day: $90 Ages 7-13 years old 9AM – 3PM This program consists of the same morning schedule as half day campers. Campers break for lunch which will be coupled with a daily "stump the staff" soccer trivia session. The afternoon then consists of 2 activities. The first will be a soccer related activity/game such as "soccer tennis" or "doctor, doctor". The day will conclude with scrimmages. Goalkeeper Training Ages 10-13 Goalkeeper training will be made available to either Half Day or Full Day campers that designate an interest in goalkeeper training. Goalkeeper training will be Mon-Thur from 9:30-11:00. Discounts & Financial Assistance Families registering multiple children for camp receive a 15% discount on each child after the first. Players who register for the first week of camp receive a 15% discount on registration for the second week. HCSA Summer Camps are an all-inclusive opportunity.
