TRYOUT INFORMATION
HCSA holds annual tryouts for its classic level teams each May. Tryouts are open to any players U11-U18. Players are evaluated over two tryout sessions to determine their team placement for the soccer year. Players who have an interest in joining HCSA classic level teams during the course of the year but have missed tryouts should contact the Director of Coaching to discuss roster openings and arrange a tryout.
Tryout Fees
$25 for a family’s first player if preregistered; $40 for a family’s first player at onsite registration
$15 for a family’s second player if preregistered; $30 for a family’s second player at onsite registration
Tryout Guidelines
All required registration materials must be completed and fees from the previous season paid prior to a player’s tryout.
Players are expected to attend both of their age-group tryout sessions.
Any player wishing to tryout for an older age-group must have permission from the Director of Coaching; this includes U10 Avalanche Academy players wishing to tryout for a U11 classic team.
Upon acceptance of a roster spot, players are expected to make a one-year commitment to their team and the club (a fall and spring season)
Tryouts are held at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex
