Classic level teams are HCSA’s most competitive level of play. Teams compete in NCYSA’s classic leagues. HCSA teams have shown steady growth in participation and competitive level since the completion of the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex in 2008. Teams continue to draw players from a growing region including; Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Watauga, and Wilkes counties as well as the state of Virginia.

All training sessions and home matches are heldat the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex. Teams are coached by professional HCSA staff coaches who include college coaches from Appalachian State University and Lees McRae College.
