Tuesday September 27 is the annual HCSA night at the ASU men’s soccer game.  The game kicks-off at 7:00 PM against UNC-Asheville.  HCSA will not hold practices on this night and instead invites all of it’s teams to "Pack the Mack" for the game.  HCSA will hold it’s traditional HCSA night tailgate beginning at 6:00 PM.

The tradition of HCSA night began in the fall of 2009 at ASU Soccer Stadium at TMSC and was inspired by the late ASU Coach Shaun Pendleton.  Many in our soccer community had been touched in some way by Coach Pendleton who passed unexpectedly on September 5, 2011.  The game on Tuesday September 27 will be the Mountaineer’s first home match since Shaun’s passing.  HCSA would like to honor Shaun’s memory on HCSA night by supporting the ASU men’s team, now lead by HCSA coach Matt Nelson, on September 27 with "Pack the Mack" in hopes of setting a new ASU Soccer Stadium Attendance record. 

Coach Nelson’s team is currently 4-2-1 and ranked #7 in the NSCAA Regional South Poll.  The team is 3-0-1 under Coach Nelson since Shaun’s passing and hasn’t conceded a goal.

Side dishes and chips will be available and are included in the tailgate.

Subway and drinks will be purchased and picked up at the concession stand window.  Bratwurst and BBQ will be purchased at the concession stand window where you will get a ticket to take to the griller to collect your brat or bbq sandwich.
