HCSA UNVEILS NEW CREST

HCSA has unveiled this new club crest as the official club crest, designed by Evan Hinshaw with input from HCSA staff and board memebers.  Hinshaw is a friend of staff coach Ben Birdsong.  In the Fall of 2009 HCSA changed it’s colors from navy and light blue to navy and red to better represent the growing participation numbers from area counties since the opening of the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex in 2008.  When the colors changed, the same HCSA logo was kept with only some minor editing to insert the new club colors.  The new crest was designed to display HCSA’s navy and red color scheme while implementing a more classical European "crest" design to our logo.  The new crest was also able to incorporate our most identifying geographical feature in the High Country with the mountain range rising above the "High Country Avalanche" banner to complete the top portion of the crest.

The new crest is featured on the 2011/2012 official practice shirts sponsored by our 2011/2012 coporate sponsor Balfour Beatty Construction. The crest is also featured on player and fan apparel available at the TMSC concession stand.  T-shirts featuring the crest are available in navy or red for $12 per shirt.  Hoodies featuring the crest will also be available shortly in grey or red for $20 per hoody.  There are also a select number of hats featuring the new crest still available for $15.

The new crest is planned to debut on HCSA jerseys in the fall of 2012.
