Kiki Wallace joined HCSA in the fall of 2007 when he moved to Boone, NC, following a collegiate playing career at Indiana University, to join the Appalachian State University men’s coaching staff. In the fall of 2008, Kiki transitioned from ASU to become the HCSA Director of Coaching. Since 2008, Kiki has established a number of HCSA programs which make up the HCSA "Club Player Development Model". Kiki also serves on the North Carolina ODP coaching staff. As a player, Kiki was a member of the 2004 NCAA National Championship team and the 2006 Big Ten Conference Championship team with Indiana University. Kiki also grew up a member of the Indiana and Connecticut State ODP teams.

Cole Atkins joined HCSA in the Fall of 2010 when he moved to Blowing Rock to become a professional runner at Zap Fitness. He previously coached for Piedmont Triad Football Club in High Point, North Carolina while playing collegiate soccer at High Point University. Cole is coaching the U12 and U14 boys’ teams and will also serve as the trainer for HCSA’s supplemental Technical Training/Speed & Agility training session for classic team players.

| Jeff joined HCSA after being hired as the Assistant Men’s Coach at Appalachian State University in January 2012. Prior to coming to the High Country Jeff served as a Director of Coaching for North Meck Soccer Club and an Assistant Men’s Coach at Davidson College. As a player Jeff was a collegiate All-American at Clemson University. After college he enjoyed a 9 year professional career in the United Soccer League and Major League Soccer. In addition to duties with ASU and HCSA , Jeff also serves on the North Carolina ODP coaching staff. |

| Ben Birdsong joined HCSA while completing his undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University. Since completing his degree he has stayed with HCSA and joined the Appalachian State University women’s soccer coaching staff. Ben has his hands in coaching all levels and programs with HCSA; Jr. Avalanche, Kicks for Kids, U10 Avalanche Academy, Classic Teams, High Country Soccer Camp, and Futsal. In addition to his coaching duties Ben is also the Coordinator for the HCSA Adult League. Ben also serves on the North Carolina ODP coaching staff. |

Sam Bowling began with HCSA in the Spring of 2010 as a staff coach for the U10 Avalanche Academy. Sam has enjoyed her coaching experience and more importantly her players have enjoyed her coaching and so she has now joined the classic coaching staff and will be coaching the U12 Girls. As a player Sam played 4 years of high school and 7 years of classic level soccer.

Matt Nelson joined HCSA when he came to Boone in the fall of 2008 as an assistant coach for the Appalachian State University men’s soccer team. In the fall of 2011, Matt was named the ASU Head Coach and earned the 2011 Southern Conference Coach of the Year honor. Matt brings a wealth of college and professional experience with him. Prior to coming to ASU, Matt compiled 7 years of colleagiate coaching experience at William & Mary and Virginia Wesleyan. As a player Matt played collegiately Lynn University. After college he enjoyed a 9 year professional career in the United Soccer League, Irish Premier League, and Major League Soccer. Matt also serves on the North Carolina ODP coaching staff.

Kyle Wallace joined HCSA in the fall 2010 following a collegiate playing career at Eastern Connecticut State University. Kyle coached in the U10 Avalanche Academy program for a year and this fall begins his classic head coaching career. Over the past year Kyle has been involved with U10 Avalanche Academy, Kicks for Kids, Classic Team traning, High Country Soccer Camp, and Futsal.
